Can anyone add to the discussion of replacing the tranny mount?

To replace the mount you should place a jack under the engine and tranny, usually a place a piece of 2x4 on the jack to kind of span the distance.
Slowly raise the jack until you see the engine and tranny lift up ever so slightly. Do not go crazy with height! Just enough to take the tension off the mounts, nothing more.
Add jack stands to support the engine/tranny, safety first!
Replace the mount and reverse.
The only really area of concern is lifting up too much on the engine/tranny. You do not want to break any pipes, tubing, electrical wires, etc. Just go slow and easy.

yes -its only two bolts - if not--- lifting the motor striaght up or on any angle is sure to split the rubbers in the mount

Need help please. on my 2003 Camry 2.4L I have already changed the Dogbone.I still have little vibration when I put it in drive or reverse.

Is my transmission mount bad?I was able to inspect the Dogbone with visual inspection.

Is the transmission mount underneath the air-filter-box? do I have to take the air-filter box off to replace the transmission mount?
