RE: Differential fluid

The differential fluid is ATF for which a 96 would take Dextron II. It should have a seperate drain and fill plug in the differential. Be sure you have the right equipment to do the job before you drain it as you'll need to pump the ATF up into the differential fill hole. Good luck!

You can do it with out a pump by putting a rubber hose on the end of a bottle of diff. fluid but you will make a mess. I can promise you that.

Yup, lavalleemike's right, I've done the procedure without a pump and it will leave a mess.
