Distributor and Timing
Hi - how careful do I need to be with a 95 4cyl camry in removing the entire distributor from
the block? Will this mess up the timing? Does the rotor only go in correct or 180 degrees out? I guess it spins freely when distributor is removed but can it go back in anyway or just 2 ways? I can see from the bolts and mounting track that the distributor can move on install for timing adjustment (?). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

distributor only fits one way ,the timing advance or retard must be fine tune using a timing light, but if you mark the location of the distributor before removing any bolts you will be ok .
