grease while replacing tie rod boots?

When I replace the boots, I usually add some ball joint chassis grease to the inner ball joint. Should I also
turn the steering wheel completely right and add grease to as many of the rack splines/teeth that i can reach?

note these pics are not mine, just pics I found on internet to illustrate: https://imgur.com/a/iAxi78S

Also, can I use standard worm roller clamp for the large end?

Use molybdenum disulfide lithium grease.

As to clamps a screw type is OK. Try to find one whose width fits into the groove/track of the boot.
