Welcome to CF.
The V6 has the timing belt and the 4 cylinder went to a chain. The V6 has VVTi and became interference. If the car was stored in a dry climate the trans oil should be OK. Just sitting doesn't harm it but moisture might accumulate. Its supposed to be synthetic fluid. Suggest changing around 60K. Toyota has a chart with colors to compare to the fluid and determine its condition. https://www.google.com/search?client...id+color+chart |
