new to this forum just aquired a 2007 Camry with 44 k planning to do a drain and fill on transmission just thinking could timing belt possibly be bad the car has been sitting foe 4 years put new tires new battery and oil change fired up 1st time

The V6 has the timing belt and the 4 cylinder went to a chain. The V6 has VVTi and became interference.
If the car was stored in a dry climate the trans oil should be OK. Just sitting doesn't harm it but moisture might accumulate. Its supposed to be synthetic fluid. Suggest changing around 60K. Toyota has a chart with colors to compare to the fluid and determine its condition.
