2016 toyota camry steering wheel knocking sound
Hello, i’ve been having problems with a knocking i have been hearing from under the steering wheel when i turn or go over bumps and i can also feel it on the gas pedal, but i do not know what the problem is and mechanics can’t figure it out as well. Does anyone know what the issue is?

A knock or a rattle as in more then one knock?
Typically causes of a knocking noise over bumps are worn sway bar bushings, sway bar link or upper strut mount. Rotating the steering wheel knock can be issues with the steering wheel U-joints. Can you turn the steering wheel with the car stationary and hear a knock? |
If a ball joint is beginning to fail, you may notice a clunking noise coming from the front wheels. This helps translate the turning of the steering wheel to the direction of the tires. When a tie rod end is worn or loose, they may produce a clunking noise

My best guess would be something wrong with a tie rod end or ball joint.

i agree with the other poster , sounds maybe like a ball joint or rod. if it was something worse i think you might hear something louder and more alarming than a knocking. any updates to this situation op?
