Hey All,
I got the remote start option with my 07 camry. The way it works is you press the remote to start the car (i'm sure you all knew that). Now in order for you to get into the car, you have to press the unlock button to unlock the car, which will also shut the engine off. So then you get in the car and have to restart it again. To me this is kind of a waiste of a $595 feature. Friends of mine who has aftermarket remote start installed on their car, just start the car, unlock and drive off.
Does anybody know of any secret to bypass this?

try unlocking the door with the key instead of the remote.
