02 sensor problem
First is this the right forum?Ok so real quick before I start with my problem id like to say im not a newbie but I mostly work on vw’s so don’t know much about Toyotas. But my mother in law has a 94 camry v6 and she said it was getting up gas and had a cel up. So I read codes and saw that the 02 seonsor1 and bank1 had a problem. Then I ran the data. The s1b1 was at around 0.200V the s2b1 was around 1.200V and the s1b2 was around 0.500 v. So I guessed the sensor was bad and I removed it and went to AutoZone. I went and asked for part number 13355 http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...&parentId=60-0 . but then they came out with part number they came out with something that looked completely different more like this http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...&parentId=60-0 but with the normal adapter not universal. So I said ****it and installed it because they said they had nothing else. I put it in and I rand data again. The s1b1 was still at around 0.200V the s2b1 was around 1.200V and the s1b2 was around 0.500 v . So nothing changed apart from the cel isn’t coming back up. I’ve been driving it and its pissing through gas. What should I do? try another sensor? Or is there something else wrong?

Toyota lists an ohm test for the heater but nothing else. 11-16 ohms. This is common sensor location failure.
Typically if the CEL goes off and stays off the sensor system is working. On some occasions some brand of sensors (Bosch included) cause the CEL not to go or come back on. Why, don't know. Denso brand seems to have less problems in this area.
Sometime old O2 sensor can become sluggish in response.
Determine if the light stays off.
What is the MPG?
