Default WHERE the @#$!@#$%! is the thermostat?

After looking, and looking......and looking..............and looking....and looking...both on forums and on the car, I can not locate the thermostat.

You would think with about 10 million camrys running around the US, that there would be a simple write-up about how to change the thermostat; especially when heating issues seem to be a common problem with these cars.

1992 Camry XLE, V6.

Follow the water pump inlet hose from the bottom of the radiator to the engine. The hose should end up at a housing bolted to the engine by three nuts. This housing also has a temp sensor screwed into it. Remove housing to get to T-stat.
