Use a can of good old carberator cleaner. Maybe run some Sea Foam through it.

sea foam is used to clean contaminants from the engine, fuel tank, throttle body, etc...

Do not use carb cleaner. It can damage the plastic housing. Use either electrical contact cleaner or buy a can of CRC MAF Sensor Cleaner

does a 4cyclinder has a maf?
i saw in the manual only v6 engine has maf. but the 4cyl doesnt
