Installing timing belt and cam gears move when installing tensioner
I'm installing a new timing belt on my 97 Camry v6 and when I bolt the bottom tensioner the cam gears slightly move and now the marks are off. I relined the cam marks and tried again and still the cam gears move. How do I go about installing the tensioner without the cam gears moving?

You may not be able to keep them from moving.
The procedure then is to determine how much the gears rotate. Reset the gear timing marks then rotate the gears in the opposite direction the same amount they moved when you bolt the tensioner.
Once done install belt, etc and when gears now rotate they will end up at the proper marks.
Recheck the marks by rotating crank 2 times CW.
