Check your local yellow pages. Most cities have someone who does headliners. I've had this done on previous cars and it generally ran about $100.

You can use a hot glue gun or a stapler as a temp fix. It won't last but it keeps the headliner out of your face until you get a chance to get it fixed.

You can do this yourself very easily if you have the time. Material that is close in color is availible at a local fabric store. They should stock the foam-backed material. Otherwise for a bit more money you can buy it from the shop itself.

I used countertop contact cement for mine. Temperature and the amount of time you work on it will depend on the quality of work. But you should be able to do it yourself for $20-30 if you are strapped for cash.

If you're a bit crafty you can always add a bit of extra such as the Toyota logo.

Here's one I did in my Firebird.

This thread was good timing. A friend of mine was given a 97 Camry. His headliner is a mess. How difficult is it to remove and replace the headliner on a 97 Camry?? It also has a sun roof.

Hi,

Camry Was always my dream to buy. I couldn't afford a new one so I bought 1998 one.
Bit there is a bit of problem that Its HEADLINEAR is too loose.

Can you guide how to change it?
