Hey guys, I own a 98 Camy and as you may know the headlights are a little scrubby, they don't have that clear look that the 99-01 Camrys have. I was wondering if there was any way I could open up the covers on my headlights and maybe sand it until it becomes clear? Because I'm going to get HID lights and I want my headlights to be clear to get the full effect of the HID's. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

If the plastic has yellowed a little or just needs a clean up it is possible to do so with 1500-2000 wet sand paper.

The issue with some Toyota lens designs is they are constructed to defuse the light. If the lens is polished clear the headlight illumination pattern will change for the worse.
