Need Help with how to hook up Halo
Its me again Over the weekend I finally got my new headlights in (pics as soon as I can find the usb cable for my camera) However - the halo feature (a la BMW) has to be spliced into the existing wiring harness. Simple enough right? Nope - it is supposed to take the place of the DRL's (reading has showed me that the DRL's are just the high beams at 40% power) So splicing it into the high beam circut only gets me an ever so dim halo - not what I want at all. So the question - how can I hook the halos so that they get full power with the DRL's not 40%? Thanks in advance every one.
PS hey one - at least now its an actual problem right?

I am not sure what a DRL is but what I did for my car was spliced the halo with the parking lights. You might want to try that.
This reply is kind of very late but I hope it might be helpful to someone having similar issues currently.

The DRL lights may be running in series to run reduce the voltage. A number of relays in the circuit changes the light wiring for the lights from parallell to series.
Thus it is the same voltage going to light but instead of going through one light bulb it goes through two.
