Seat track extenders

I don't know if it's possible on a complicated jap car like a camry, but l did the following on an old lesabre and taurus.
Unbolt the seat from the floor and remove it from the car and see if you can drill new holes in the floor and just reattach the seat further back. l had to shim up the seat bases a little and trim some carpeting, but it worked and it was worth it.
Of course, l adjusted the seat so far back that no one was able to sit behind me, so l had kind of a 4 1/2 seater.
