I just got my Camry 2 days ago and decided to plug in my iPhone to the USB port. I get nothing. No charging to the iPhone. I would think that it's a USB that works like a USB drive to the stereo and acts like a music source that can be played. Is this not correct? Anyone else have similar issue? Also, the cables I have used are original Apple USB to Lightening cables that work on my Mac and PC as well, so it's not the cable.

The Toyota system appears to have issues with some iPhone models there may be other quirks such as iPhone software compatibility.

Might post your problem at the Toyotanation website in the appropriate make/year section. Include the iPhone model, software installed plus the option level of entertainment system the car has and cable being used.
