Default 1998 Radio Removal

Anyone know where I start? I need to get to the back of the stock player to see if it has a "CD" input so I can plug in my GPS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks for the post. I have seen that but it is nothing like the 98 camry. Anyone else have any idea of how to go about removal?

If it's like my 99, which I think it is. you need to pop the black surrounding off....mine was alittle difficult...but it popped out with some effort...and then I think there are maybe 4screws holding the stock headunit in place.

hope that helps

use a flat head and pop out the black surrounding trim of the radio. there are clips that go alla round the trim. you should probably remove the ash tray before hand.

once you get part of it off you'll know how to do the rest =) try not to break clips!
i've removed mine countless times and i've only broken one. hehe.
