I'm pretty much decided on Alpine CDA 105 for the radio but I'm having trouble figgering out speakers. Crutchfiled interface says 6x9 don't fit. Isn't that strange given fact (I believe anyway) that 6X9 are in both the door and rear deck?

Can anyone tell me what sizes will fit in the car? I'm trying to keep it simple by getting the Power Pac for the HU which ups the RMS to 45. Any recommendations for speakers? Heard 6x9 Alpine and thought they had no life to them; pioneer 3 way sounded better but would really like Boston Acoustic...anyone know models that would fit? Any other speaker recommendations?

Last question: How hard is it to replace the front door speakers? Must the door panels come off or can the speaker grills just come off?

The place where I get work done for the car said that 6 x 5 can fit in the door speakers. Don't know why crutchfield would say it wouldn't fit. My guys said that you can also do 6 x 9 if you wanted.

 

check out sonicelectronix.com they have a bunch of stuff and pretty cheap. 6x9s do fit it depends on the mounting depth.
