RE: best subs,speakers,and amps
whats wrong with fosgate amps?? i know they suck but i got mine 500 watts 2 channel to pound the living crap out of a 2 planet audio 12s and 2 crossfire 15s. but i agree with the zapco amps. they are good and so are the boston. if your going into the quality then i would reccommend bostons or zapcos. but if you just want it loud then go with catcus, jbl or planet audio. but at the end like CP said, its all about how much your welling to spend...

Well i have a gen3 camry with 2 kenwood 12's in a sealed box and a kenwood amp throwin 2000 watts of power into them and it sounds awesome. i make alarms chirp while i roll down the street. but if your gonna add a lot of power invest in a capacitor. Here's a picture

Those were my old ones... 2 Crossfire CF2s in a seal box.
These are my new ones. 2 Planet Audio 12s in a ported box tuned to 37 hz at 4 ohms. sets off alarm, **** people off, and rattles the sh** out of my car.. and all powered by a Fosgate P5002 with no cap and 4ga power/ground....

No one seems to be mentioning much about Infinity. I have Infinity all the way around in my '92. Infinity Reference Series 6022i's in the front and Infinity Reference Series 9622i's in the rear. I also have two Infinity Reference Series subwoofers in the trunk putting out about 1200watts and 2ohms a piece bridged on my Sony XPlod amp. And my head unit is a Pioneer DEH-P490IB. The bass is tremendous and the sound quality is unparralelled... No rattle inside or out, AND i set alarms off with volume level only at 8... At times, i can hardly hear myself think!
