Default Factory XM install

I was just quoted $425 (including labor) to install the factory XM adapter into my XLE with nav.

Is this a good deal? or can I buy the XM adapter from some place and have it installed (or install myself)?

thanks!

My dealer wanted $699 to install XM so I am going to an external vendor who quoted me $350.
