Sub placement - Gen 6 Camry
Where's everyone mounting their subwoofers in the trunk? I took a look and it appears that the entire cover needs to be removed to access the spare. On all my previous cars, I simply bolted the boxes to the floor of the trunk and was still able to get to the spare. I don't think I can do that in the Camry and still be able to get to the spare.

I havn't looked in the trunk of a Gen 6, so Im not too sure what the space is like but in my Gen4 my box with 2 tens sits snug in pushed to the seats. The box weighs 40-50 pounds w/o the subs in it so it wont move.
All I can recommend is find something heavy. Or make something heavy.

I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to used the one from my previous car (single 12 with dual voice coils):
or go with another one. I'm not going to do too much with the system as it's the Navigation head unit and under warranty.

^^ x2 but i used 1-LONG strip of velcro. I actually used an exacto knife to get a cut-out of the carpet so i can stick the adhesive backing on one ov the velcro right onto the particle board. its a bit.ch to take out now. LOL.

I've got a Boston 555 in a ported box in my 07 Camry pushed against the backseat. I have no issues with it moving, well, I should say the box doesn't move, but the hair on your head will shake like crazy. Never thought about using Velcro. Maybe put a mat under it like you would use for your floors when you put a mat down in your bathroom or kitchen. Maybe that'll keep it from moving and no one will know it's there!
