hi all

ive replaced my rear speakers in my 1995 camry and wanting to do the same inn the front. ive figured out how to take of the door panels to get the speakers but when i got to the brackets for the old speakers there actually smallers than the 6.5" ones reccomended by many users on this site. there about 4.5" i think. if anyone knows the actual size i would be appreciate it alot.
but anyway i continued to remove the bracket for the stock ones and theres a nice hole for me to screw the 6.5s into the actual door. i did that and put it all back together and then when i tried to wind the window down all the way it stopped about two inches from the bottom.. if you put the speakers in this way the magnet will get in the way of the window... just a WARNING to anyone that goes to do this.

You have to watch the mounting depth of the speakers! Most 6.5's will work if you put a spacer between them and the door. Get it as far out as possible but still stay under the speaker grill (if you're staying stock).
