Hey to all, I'm by far not a pro and this option is simply what I CHOSE TO DO to remedy the awful mess of a dash I was dealing with. I went to the local craft store and found a matte acrylic paint (or a chalkboard paint) that matched the color of my dashboard as close as I could find. Bought quite a few bottles considering the area I had to cover.The first time I did this it seemed great for about a month then I noticed the cracks beginning to appear in the paint of course from the sun drying it out. It wasn't until I decided to try this a second time about a year later that I found out about a product called FLOETROL which is an additive that can be used with certain paints that while it does lengthen the dry time of the paint, it will increase the flexibility of the paint and also increases its heat resistance. I don't remember the ratios you'll have to figure that one out for yourself. But overall after about 2 or 3 coats you have a matte solid Un-sticky dash that sun light and glares do not reflect off of. It worked for me but it's probably not for everyone.
