I have a 2000 Camry and the drivers door actuator is defective and needs replacing. I have remove the door panel and can see the actuator that is located in a retangular holder with no screws holding the actuator. The new actuator has 3 small holes on the left side to hold it in place (I GUESS). My question is how do I remove the old actuator?

 

The should be three screws on the side of the door to engage the three screws on the new unit.

Are you stating the screws for the old unit are not there?
