Hello, can someone please give me advice on what tool I need to punch these holes out? or Is this the wrong part? I have no idea what these buttons even do? they seem to not do anything in my vehicle. Maybe just cover them with the new part? The new part is the woodgrain.

Any help is appreciated, photos attached. its a 2003 Camry.

One can search under cutting holes in plastic dash to find various methods.

Might make a template of the current switch locations using casting compound or such with a release agent applied to the dash contact surfaces. From here to cut out holes in the cast that will precisely locate the switch area. Then carefully scribe the circumference of the holes into the new part. Many state to use an Exacto knife to cut along the scribe line but this needs to be done carefully.

One could look into a jewelers saw with abrasive blade rather then one having teeth. Drill a hole in the center of the scribe area to install the blade.
