2012 Camry rear windshield has come loose
I have a 2012 Camry Hybrid whose rear windshield has come loose at the top and partially on the sides, as in if I roll down a window going 40 mph the top of the window pops up and threatens to get pulled off the car. The window is in great shape, it just isn't 'glued down' correctly. The molding looks perfect also. I've been looking everywhere to find how to reseal it, but cannot find anything except quotes on full replacements. Does anyone have a link to parts and procedure for installing a rear windshield? Can I use a standard glue, or is there a special molding that I need to get?

Watch this video , the reason you are being quoted for window replacement is because they may not be able to remove the windshield without shattering it , you could probably do this yourself using some wire shoved inside the gap and cut the sealant and scrape it off the glass and then carefully drive/towed to an auto glazier and have it refitted

Chris fix's video is probably more applicable to what you need to do

Glass is tricky to remove and you should have a friend help you- extra hands.
I've never done it myself but I watched a friend... Well, I drank beer and kind of watched.
He used a wire to travel around the windshield after removing all the trim and rubber seals around it.
Then, suction cups that you can click to increase suction against the glass, and very gently and evenly (with a friend) remove.
A decent video of the perils of this endeavor...
