I have a 99 solara and when i push the drivers unlock button it only unlocks the passenger side. When i use the remote for the car it only locks/unlocks the passenger side. The window buttons work fine. Do i just need to replace the lock button? Thanks for your help.

 

Is this a 4 door?

Are only concerned about the drivers door lock?

The button and remote will lock the drivers door?

Windows are a different circuit.

The button is part of a console with all the other buttons.

If the remote does not unlock the door it might be the locking solenoid device in the door, not switch.
