Default Camry radio - lost volume - repair suggestions?

I have a Toyota CAMRY 2001 WITH A CD/CASSETTE/Radio player - Fujitsu Ten 86120-0C020 Face Plate: 16814

The volume control is broken and I get no Volume. Display works and I can tune stations but get no sound. Would you recommend replacing the face plate (if I can find one) or the complete unit?

Could the unit be working fine and I have lost connections to the speakers?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Could be a few things...I'm not too familiar with that particular stereo system set up, but its highly unlikely that you lost connection to all speakers at the same time. Unless there is a factory amplifier somewhere.

Yes, loosing connection to all speakers at the same time does sound unlikely.

I think the easiest solution will be to find a direct replacement unit on eBay and just swap it out.

Thanks for your comment.
