Engine Oil Brand and Grade ??? First Time Here
Hello guys,
I'm Andy from Montreal, Canada and this is my first time here.
Thinking of buying a 2019 Camry SE or Rav4 2019 thus being here.
All pointers will be more than welcome.
I went to a Toyota dealer and asked the service tech what brand oil they use for a Camry SE 2019. He said that they will use Castrol 0W16.
Went to the Castrol Website and they do NOT make that grade, 0W16.
Also, what is better Mobile 1 Oil or Castrol Oil ?
Thanks.

Welcome to CF!
Check the owners manual of either car first for recommended oil weights. The Camry and RAV4 oil weight recommendations may be different.
Toyota has its own Toyota branded 0W-16. Perhaps Castrol makes this for Toyota, who knows.
The 0W-16 oil has been used in Asia from some time but is recent in Canada and the US. The result is the availability is limited.
Any brand of 0W-16 will be fine. Valvoline, Mobil 1, Ravenol, Toyota, etc.
Toyota states that if 0W-16 is not available, then 0W-20 can be used.until 0W-16 is available.
It appears 0W-16 is recommended now to meet US CAFE standards. The 0W-20 is recommended for sustained higher speeds and temps. If you can't get 0W-16, use 0W-20.

I have a 2016 and 2017 RAV4. In USA or my manual it is 0W20 synthetic oil.
From mobile 1 site
Mobil 1™ 0W-16 is a low viscosity, advanced synthetic formulation developed to help increase engine efficiency to provide outstanding fuel economy in specific modern engines -- select Honda and Toyota engines designed to operate on a 0W-16 viscosity motor oil.

Also, what is better Mobile 1 Oil or Castrol Oil ? Mobil 1 without a doubt. Castrol does not hold up as well as Mobil 1. Just my opinion but Castrol seems to be falling by the wayside Just as Havoline brands.
