I had one break on my 1995 Camry but some folks are a little brutal on these.

I have a 98 camry le which I relaced all four door handles. The drivers side really gave me a hard time but I got it off and put in the new one. I broke the passenger front handle a few weeks ago when it was so cold I couldn't open the door. Lesson learned. Also a note, if you buy new handles like I did, you have to buy new bolts cause the original wont fit. But you say you got yours at a junk yard so that shouldn't be a problem for you. Good luck!

Drivers side was a pain. I share your pain on that one. In fact I cut out a small section in the metal to get at removal. 1995 Camry XLE.

well lucky I didn't have to cut anything other than my arm which got banged up while doing this, part of the process of DIY I guess. I had to go to Lowes to find the right bolts because the one I used was a screw in type and it's too loose. So in short I have to get back in there and replace the bolt. I'm just waiting for it to get a little warmer. I thought of doing it this morning but it was so damm cold I decided not to tackle it. I just have to be careful when I do open the drivers side door until I finally complete the job.
