The insulation on the passenger side got torn out and used for nesting materials by a rat. There is bare firewall where the AC pipes go through. How important is that insulation and should I immediately replace it, or can it wait? 2015 Camry with 4cyl and AC.

Any knowledge will be appreciated.

 

If the firewall insulation is damaged its OK.

One AC pipe may be wrapped in insulation. If damaged install house pipe insulation. The kind you can buy at a hardware store.

 

I can't find any other damage. I suspect that was for noise deadening. Thanks.
