Hi all,
I broke the wire that connected to solenoid E (#3 according to toyota service book on camry 2000 5SFE, 4 speed automatic transmission A140E) which located behind the Safety Neutral Switch. Now the OBD reader reports code P0773. Is there any way to reconnect/fix it?
I had the part which is the only one part # 8282120210 on the diagram its related to; however, there is no wire attached to itself.

The part you have is the plug holder only. It doesn't have the male electrical contact pin installed (looks like a blade). The pin was crimped to the now detached wire on one end and made contact with the female electrical connector on the other end. The pin sides into the electrical harness connector housing from the wire side and locks in with a built in spring clip on the pin.

Suggest you clean debris off the solenoid connector on the trans with paper towels for better ease of working. Then remove the old plug holder which should have the pin till attached. As stated a spring clip built into the pin holds it into the connector housing. Once this spring clip is pressed down the pin slides out from the wire side of the connector. The internet would have video's on how to remove the pin. Suggest you look here for guidance on pin removal before attempting this. It is easy if you know how to do it.

Once the pin is out you can see how it was crimped to the wire. If you have a soldering iron you can solder the wire to the area where it was crimped. If working on the wire on the car is a too difficult one could attach a section of wire to the pin, install the pin with this wire attached into the plug housing and then crimp this wire end to the wire end on the car with a splice joint connector.

With care it might be possible to un-crimp the wire on pin and re-crimp a new but don't damage anything in the process.

There are also Toyota wiring harness repair kits sold on the internet that come with a harness plug, pin(s) and section of wire(s) attached but make sure it has the same type of pin. If the same pin but a different plug housing the pin can be removed and transferred to the new harness plug housing you obtained then its wire crimped to the one the car.

Is there any PnP kit (plug & play kit) for this wiring harness, such as link, item, part number #? Otherwise, just go to any junk yard, cut then paste it?

Not that I know of.

Remove the harness connector plug from the solenoid and take a look at the pin attached it. Your going to need to remove the plug anyway.
