right front bearing carrier problem??

right front bearing carrier problem??
hey, trying to change a right front cv axle, but the i can not get the axle's carrier bearing out of the mount on right side of my 2003 v6 camry.. does anybody have any ideas?? I was thinking of using a little heat or maybe a bag of ice place around the carrier???

If the clip and bolt are removed and the shaft is stuck, the carrier bearing outer housing (for lack of a better word) can freeze to the mount due to rust and corrosion. This problem is not uncommon.
You can try using penetrating fluid, hammering, etc. Some have removed the mount to work on the assy at their shop table.
Suggest an internet search on possible solutions, again this is a reasonable common issue. One that be extremely difficult to deal with.
One owners solution was to just replace the outer portion of the shaft and CV joint.
Heat would work but would need a torch to get the mount really hot.
One other site to try for suggestions is the Toyotanation site.
