Did you remove the bolt and snap ring on the bearing carrier mount?

I did remove the snap ring and the bolt, but that bearing on the axle does not seem to come out of the mount....

If the clip and bolt are removed and the shaft is stuck, the carrier bearing outer housing (for lack of a better word) can freeze to the mount due to rust and corrosion. This problem is not uncommon.

You can try using penetrating fluid, hammering, etc. Some have removed the mount to work on the assy at their shop table.

Suggest an internet search on possible solutions, again this is a reasonable common issue. One that be extremely difficult to deal with.

One owners solution was to just replace the outer portion of the shaft and CV joint.

Heat would work but would need a torch to get the mount really hot.

One other site to try for suggestions is the Toyotanation site.
