Side mirror replacment

Default Side mirror replacment
My driver side mirror got clipped and the subassembly is busted (part 8790606080 appear to be part I need). The glass & housing cover are fine. Is there a special tool to cover on the inside of the door to access the bolts to remove? Any advice on prying that off with out damaging it? Thanks,
