Unhappy 95 camry,2.2l,inter no start

I have 95 camry ,2.2L,288k miles, after car gets hot(no definite time pattern)will get slight misfire right off ide stop, not everytime, is intermittent, also sometimes hen veh doing this,if you turn veh off it will not start,(ie will spin over ,will not run),have replaced-distributor,wires,plugs,fuel pump, upper o2 sensor(1 wire),tps, map sensor, have ordered igniter(firewall mounted),will try tom,10/7/2009,when you get veh to start (by just trying to start),when veh acting up ,hav seen smoke coming from exhaust, resembing unburnt fuel(black color)timing belt fresh, charging system good, new battery, terminals clean and tight,i hope igniter fixes problem.Any other ideas?

Well a month after car started running bad,(high idle, stalling, tip in miss or bog, hard or misfifing start up)after replacing every thing electrical inc ecu,did not ever repl. igniter,my very inter. problem that ould not turn the ck engine light on was the coolant temp. sensor for ecu not gauge. My theory is this, sensor was inter. going open internally(like a light bulb filament breaking),if like a GM vehicle, that send a temp voltage high to ecu, which ecu would cut out fuel and lean mixture out,but it also could have been shorting to ground internally which would send a colder than normal temp(probably neg -40,like GM cars do),that explanation is probably more accurate because I also had the high idle. When you start your car in morning you have fast idle rt?I hope thi helps somebody else as to save them from becoming bald.
