Default 98 Camry knock sensor.

The knock sensor had triggered my check engine light. It happened after I hit a coyote a few months back. ITs hard to get to and its gonna be a mission. Does anyone have advise or know any web pages that might help me? Pretty much i gotta rip off the intake manifold to get to it. Does not see so bad?

Have you tried resetting the computer?

V6 or 4 cylinder?

To see what is involved click on the link below:

http://www.findonefindall.com/toyota...ock_sensor.htm

This info is for a Sienna but it uses the same engine.

The engine has 2 knock sensors each having its own code.

If using aftermarket parts try www.Rockauto.com which may have better prices then local stores.

If wanting Toyota OEM parts try www.1sttoyotaparts.com. Sells discount Toyota factory parts.
