0W-20? Check the owners manual.

Thought a 10W-30 was stated to be OK for temps about 0F. Toyota may state its OK for severe service or high speed driving.

Use a synthetic oil and change it regularly as in 5k miles tops.

Keep a CLOSE eye on the oil level. This engine model can start burning a LOT of oil.

Yeah that grade is recommended. Some people say that it's for better mpg but higher viscosity grades are better for wear. Something that also tells me I could use higher grade is that my 07 oil cap says 5w-30 and the 09 on it says what is recommended in the manual for the 07 (5w-20 or 0w-20) lol.
I think I seen that grade for the 6 cylinder ones.
Yeah before getting the 07 I didn't know about the oil burning issue. I don't think it ever burned oil, It would leak oil when I first got it but repaired it. The 09 does burn oil though or its leaking but not dripping down to the ground. But I will be switching oils on that one to see if it would help.
RIP to my 07 though it went through a good run the 2.5 years i've had it.
