I have a nice 98 camry 4 cyl 5 speed that got t-boned on Monday ( they had no insurance, crap!) It still drives but the damage is too severe to warrant repairs, I have found another 98 camry 4 cyl automatic for sale that has a really nice body, maybe better than mine (two tone paint) but has a thrown rod.
Question:

Is the engine in my 5 speed car compatible with the engine in the automatic car?

If not, is it a difficult modification?

If still not, is is possible for the whole drive train to transfer.

Help I am new to this and I love my 98 camry!
