Default Camry misfires and CEL P0301

My sister and brother-in-law were going to Texas today. So, I told them I'd drop them off at O'hare airport. Their flight was for 7 am ~. I was doing maybe 85 MPH on I-90 in the Camry and all of a sudden the car started to shake badly and the CEL started flashing. I let go of the accelerator thinking maybe the trans went out or something. I pulled over to the shoulder, popped the car in neutral, and let it drive itself down to 20 MPH. Popped it back in drive and slightly gave it acceleration and everything was fine. CEL magically disappeared.

Got to the airport and checked all fluids just to make sure. Trans fluid is slightly red so that's fresh. Oil is full. On my way home. Doing maybe 65 MPH on I-90 and boom CEL comes back on. This time I let go of the accelerator ASAP. Got home and scanned the CEL. Popped up P0301 code for cylinder 1 misfire. I did the VCG and put new NGK plugs in about 2~ months ago.

Switched the coil pack from cylinder 2 to cylinder one. Still getting a misfire code for cylinder one.

Found this crack on coil pack one. New plugs have about 1200 miles on them NGK plugs off Rockauto.

The blinking light means the mixture is so rich it can cause over heating of the emissions converter. Typically issues are ign problems or injector leaking.

A failing ign coil can cause a misfire then the light comes. Then next thing is no misfire and the light goes off, etc. This situation may continue for some time or within say 15 minutes the engine quits and will start again until coil is replaced.

Replace all coils with a decent brand.

I was thinking of either going with duralast (life time warranty) or SKP off Rockauto. I did switch around the coil pack from cylinder 2 to cylinder one. Got a misfire code for cylinder 1

I prefer Denso as they make good parts and Toyota owns a large stake in the company thus assume it supplies its parts.

Duralast gets mixed reviews but does have the lifetime warranty and local parts outlets.

Know nothing about SKP.

Here is the list from Toyota on the code.

Ignition system. CommonInjector. Not common but a full on injector could cause this. Injectors usually fail by leaking.

Fuel line pressure- Assume too rich.

EGR. If stuck closed not much happens. If full open the engine would die at some point at lower RPM.

Compression pressure. Not much can do here.

Valve clearance not to specification. Ditto

Valve timing. Ditto

Mass air flow meter. Has its own code.

Engine coolant temp sensor. Ditto

Open or short in engine wire. Has happened check wiring and plug.

Connector connection. Ditto

ECM. Rare.

I have a Denso plug on the way to replace the busted coil pack. Going to see if that'll make a difference. Hopefully, that one busted ignition coil was the misfire problem

The FVP is a little more money but has a limited lifetime warranty.
