Default Drive Belt Replacement

I would like to replace the drive belt to the alternator, A/C, and power steering on my 2002 Camry 4-cylinder engine.

Does anyone: 1. have experience with this job and learned some lessons?
2. know where to find the special factory tool (09249-63010 according to
the Haynes manual)or its equivalent at a reasonable price ?

Default RE: Drive Belt Replacement

there should be a drawing of the belt routing on the hood of the engine compartment...if i'm correct that special tool is just a long wrench to pull back the tensioner...you could just use a long 3/8 ratch and a 17mm or 19mm socket..i forget which socket...if you want to learn how to repair and maintane your car..i highly recommend spending $30 on a repair manual..
