E85 in Camry
Hey guys I was wanting to know if anyone has tried it or knows anything about the effects of E85 in a 96 2.2L camry or anything close to that nature. Let me know thanks

If this is an 85 percent alcohol, 15 percent gasoline blend don’t do it!
The Camry engines are designed for a maximum of around 15 percent alcohol. The engine and fuel system is just not set up for this amount of alcohol; the result will be engine problems, fuel system damage, etc. Stick to gasoline that has at the most 15% alcohol. If you have the owners manual this should give details of the type of fuel that can be used. Cars running on E85 are specifically designed for it by the manufacturer or have been modified to do so.
