Default Overheating Gen 3 3VZ Fe

I know this is a problem with Gen 3 Camrys 3VZ Fe

New Rad, thermostat, coolant temp sensor and now a new (and expensive) sensor that controls the hydraulic fluid to the fan.

On her way home from the garage, my wife phoned to say ---- the thing overheated after she switched on the a/c. This I guess is an improvement over it over heating without the a/c on.

Has anyone a word of comfort or hope?

thanks

Not too sure of this particular model, but it sounds like the fan is not coming on when the A/C is turned on.
Don't let the car overheat but try and see if the fans come on with the A/C.

Thanks

I thought the fan not coming on might be the problem, so I bought a new sensor.

I let the car run in the drive with the a/c on, and after the thermostat opened, the fan speeded up just like it's supposed to. The needle on the temp gauge stayed put.

I'll try a test drive later, after I've made a few sacrifices and read the bones.
