Running warm and with a miss
1999 Camry 220 thousand miles.
i replaced water pump timing belt cam crank and oil pump seals after the oil pump starting making the Exxon Valdez blush.
ive made it another 10 thousand miles after replacing all that.
car runs warm now and with a definite miss.
i drove it on a thousand mile trip last weekend with no thermostat
it was mostly at operating temp and started to flirt with getting warm even without the thermostat.
i just did a block test. Drained coolant a little, put the tube in the radiator with the blue fluid and squeezed it for 3 straight minutes while it idled. Didn’t change color.
compression is really good
why is my car running warm?
