i went to see a 2005 camry with 58,000 miles. the engine made a loud revving noise upon acceleration [along with a clicking when the car idles]. the guy says it is a great car and that it has no problems. any ideas about how normal this is or if there might be a problem?

 

the newer 4 banger do sound a little louder then the older ones, but this is hard to say. but my advice to anyone buying a used car is.. have the pros inspect before buy.
