-bought an 02 4cyl w 70,000 miles and notice the exhaust hangs down low at the mid point. Got under the cat expecting to see a missing hanger, but all were intact and in good shape. The stamped-steel cross brace running under the tunnel to prevent the exhaust from dragging was torn out of the floor on one side and barely attached on the other.I've seen at least a third of this gen Camry with the same problem. No under carriage damage visible on my car. Is it a bad 'side' motor mount canting the engine? Thanks for info on where to look-I looked through 400+ GenTech posts here and found none on this.
