What I really wonder is how the engine died. It seems like the brakes work fine, but happen to malfunction in a certain scenario while subsequently cutting off the engine.

I think its due to brake adjustment, you need to go any good automobile store and check them and may be this problem solve.Otherwise contact with dealer about this problem.

Since then there is a pretty consistent rubbing (not grinding) when i apply the brakes. Mechanic said it was normal on this model. What could it be?
