Default Problem comming back

Well over 3 weeks on and today I started to get severe vibration at 60mph - eased off when I dropped to 40mph. Pulling harder to left and front left tyre was warmer than usual when I stopped. Symptoms are similar to when the problem started about 2 months ago so looks like it's back - if it follows pattern it will get more severe quickly i.e. burning pads. Garage have sourced replacement calipers from scrap yard so going to have to eliminate something sooner or later and work back up the line. Keep you posted on progress. Cheers.

If you think the caliper is binding or frozen release brake line pressure via the bleeder screw and determine if this helps the situation.

Is so allow the problem with the brakes to repeat then loosen a brake fitting further upstream. Repeat this until you narrow down the problem area in the system.

Also sometimes the flexible lines running from the metal lines to the caliber can start to fail and cause break binding.

Default Not the caliper - surprise!

Well swapped the caliper and hose and problem got worse. Refitted original caliper and still worse. So problem elsewhere. Reviewing economics of situation before any more work. Cheers.

Releasing brake pressure with the caliper bleeder screw did not help?
