Default 1999 camry power locks

The power locks really feel like they have little to no power running through it, most of the time the switch just twitches a little, sometimes it locks and unlocks correctly (rarely) and I can hear a clicking nose when I push the buttons behind the coin slot fuse cover. any ideaS?

The click may be the power relay. Try the windows and listen for the same noise.

Do any of the individual door locks work?

Does the car have a factory wireless remote or car alarm?

I believe that it has it, but I don't have the remote, just bought the car a few days ago and it's been in the shop for the last few days as well.

There is a Toyota security tab next to cigarette lighter and a red light on the dash so I'm pretty sure it has a security system most likely factory.

Unfortunately the systems with remote and alarm run everything through a wireless door lock ECU. This makes it difficult to diagnose over the internet.

The system also used the integration relay which is also in the same area as the clicking noise.

One issue on older models is the wiring between the door and chassis can break down with door usage and flex.

Best I can do.

a loose connection probably makes sense since sometimes it engages and sometimes not, but then it's a very weak lock and unlock when it does work, it doesn't click over very strong, it's more like a wimpy click =\
