2006 Toyota Camry Trunk won't open!
I have a 2006 Toyota Camry. Lately it has acted up when trying to open the trunk. Now however, the trunk is locked and nothing works on opening it. I have tried the lever next to the drivers seat, the remote and the master key. I can turn the key to the left 90 degrees and then back in its upright location but I cannot get the key to move to the unlock position. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

It could be something broke off in the lock.
Listen closely to the trunk lock while you operate the remote for any noises.
Try the following:
Another key.
Pushing down on the trunk lid when you try to open it.
Spraying some kind of cleaner into the lock.

Does the car rear seats the can fold down. If they are locked you may be able to remove the lower seat cushion then unbolt the upper seat from the bottom and pull it out.
Once inside try the child trunk release.

Thanks, I did some of the things you mentioned; I used WD-40 on both the lock and key but no luck. I also tried another key but, nope! The seats do fall down and I will see if anything looks disconnected. I am not sure where the child trunk lock is except that I have played with the fospherous green escape lever; but with no luck opening the trunk; even when using the key at the same time.
Seems it may be time to take it to a repair shop if I can't get it open in the next week. Thanks for your adivse and if anything else comes along with this problem please let me know.
